Evolutionary Trends in Gene
The Journal of Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy aims to disseminate knowledge and promote discussion through the publication of peer-reviewed, high quality research papers on all topics related to genetics. On behalf of the Journal of Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy, as Editor-in-Chief, it is my great pleasure and honour to welcome you to the Journal of Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy.
The genetic information lies within the cell nucleus of each living cell in the body. The information can be considered to be retained in a book for example. Part of this book with the genetic information comes from the father while the other part comes from the mother.
Journal of Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy (JGSGT) brings articles in all areas related to Genetics such as Genetic disorders, Genetic mutations, Auto immune diseases etc on Quaterly basis. JGSGT welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Papers will be published approximately 7 days after acceptance.
The Journal is successfully running in the 10th Volume which covers a wide area of online platform. Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy is an official peer-reviewed journal for the rapid publication of innovative research covering all aspects of Gene Mapping and Gene Therapy. Genetic Syndromes, Gene Mapping & Gene Therapy with highest impact factor offers Open Access option to meet the needs of authors and maximize article visibility and creates a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises a peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing.
This Genetics journal is using Editorial Tracking System for online manuscript submission. Manuscript can be submitted through online portal system https://www.longdom.org/submissions/genetic-syndromes-gene-therapy.html
Gene therapy is an experimental technique that uses genes to treat or prevent disease. In the future, this technique may allow doctors to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient’s cells instead of using drugs or surgery. Researchers are testing several approaches to gene therapy, including: Replacing a mutated gene that causes disease with a healthy copy of the gene. Inactivating, or “knocking out,” a mutated gene that is functioning improperly. Introducing a new gene into the body to help fight a disease.
Although gene therapy is a promising treatment option for a number of diseases (including inherited disorders, some types of cancer, and certain viral infections), the technique remains risky and is still under study to make sure that it will be safe and effective. Gene therapy is currently being tested only for diseases that have no other cures.
Journal of Genetic Syndromes & Gene Therapy has NLM ID: 101574143
