Journal of Membrane Science & Technology: Open Access [ISSN: 2155-9589 | IF- 1.18* | NLM ID: 101652144], is going to proclaim its 10th anniversary in the first month of 2020. The Yearly Journal has successfully released several issues of peer-reviewed articles collated from wide geographic coverage across the world since its derivation in the year 2011, in addition to several special issues and International conference proceedings. To commemorate the decade long publication services, the editorial team of the journal is allayed to compile an edited special issue focusing on tending research activities in Membrane Science and Technology. The theme/title of the upcoming special issue is Advances in Membrane Technology which is scheduled to be released by January 2020.
The Journal has demonstrated substantial impact in all the relevant fields of Membrane Science and Technology which focuses on structure, function, and performance of both biological membranes as well as non- biological membranes including Membrane processes, Fouling and module/process design, Process modeling, and optimization and Use of membrane technology. The whole scientific fraternity dealing with Membrane Science is eagerly awaiting the release of these special issues during this year in the Journal of Membrane Science and Technology: Open Access and the issues are expected to garner worldwide interest and create significant momentum for the knowledge of the performance of both biological membranes as well as non- biological membranes. The Journal offers this unique opportunity of greater flexibility to the contributors to published different types of scientific communications including original research, case reports, systematic reviews, commentaries and expert opinions on diverse aspects of contemporary Membrane Science research and explorations while addressing emerging challenges.
Currently, the Journal with vast array of archived articles, is listed in the International abstracting and indexation databases including CAS Source Index (CASSI), Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Sherpa Romeo, Open J Gate, Genamics Journal Seek, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, Ref Seek, Directory of Research Journal Indexing (DRJI), Hamdard University, EBSCO A-Z, OCLC- World Cat, Proquest Summons, Scholar steer, Publons and Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research.
The main pinpoint if the special issues, under the conservancy of Dr. Ruth Prassl, will be to collate significant developments and provide deeper insights into the following specific research areas which include but not limited to Membrane medicine, membrane biophysics, lipoprotein research, liposomes for targeted drug delivery and imaging. Spectroscopic and Scattering techniques.
